Sewing

I spent the morning tackling my laundry which seems to be a lot each week considering there are only 4 of us, but I'm spending some time this afternoon in my sewing room.

Sewing some wonky stars with my Kona Ash that finally came in and I finally found time to cut out the remaining 24 squares I needed...
Ironing all of those pesky seams that go along with making a quilt.
Designing all of these bits and pieces into a cohesive quilt top.


I've actually got 6 done and 3 more almost done now!  Yay, almost done!

Loving both the design and the sweet baby girl this quilt is destined for.  Man, that Atlantic Ocean is mighty big.  Otherwise, I might just have to deliver this one in person so I could get some sugar from my UK family.  ;)

I'm also baking.  When the kids and I get home from visiting the library after school, we're gonna make these:
